Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. Aspen went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina, and ground-and - hit her for the TKO victory in the second round. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd was victorious in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Ladd took home the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
