Bill Self has been a Basketball coach for more than 50 decades. Bill Self was born at Okmulgee in Oklahoma State in the United States on the 27th of December 1962. In December 2023 Bill is of around $10 million. His career as a coach began in 2013, when he was Kansas's first-year sensation Andrew Wiggins. Self played his first three seasons with Tulsa (1998-2000) and there Self compiled an Tulsa best record (74-27) after rebuilding Golden Eagles. Self coached TU Golden Hurricanes to two consecutive NCAA Tournaments, both in 1999 and 2000. Self was the head coach of his team, the Golden Hurricane, which had a record of 32-5 in the 1999-2000 campaign. Self also helped the Golden Hurricane reach its first Elite Eight. Coach of basketball at the level of college who was instrumental in helping Kansas University win an NCAA Championship. In 2012, the coach was awarded the Naismith College Coaching of the year prize. In the following year, the coach also won his 4th Big 12 Award for Coach of The Year. He married Cindy Self in 1989. Tyler was his child and Lauren is Lauren's daughter. Self was born in Okmulgee Oklahoma where his father was a girl's basketball coach at nearby Morris High School. He was offered a basketball scholarship to play at Oklahoma State University. Through all four seasons he participated and earned him a basketball letter. His school, Oklahoma State University awarded him the bachelor of business administration degree in 1985 along with an MBA in Athletics Administration degree in 1989. Bill Self is the most wealthy Basketball Coach in United States. Bill Self is worth 10 million dollars, according to Forbes and Business Insider. Self was appointed head coach of Illinois's basketball program on June 9th 2000. Self's predecessor, Lon Kruger, had left the Illinois program in order to take an offer in the NBA as head coach for the Atlanta Hawks.
