Alison Sudol

It was quite a struggle to accept this feminine aspect in the field I was thinking of as masculine. To me, it was quite difficult to tell myself, "Okay I can be beautiful, feminine and strong. Make sure you take care of yourself and never diminish my worth." It was quite fun to wear heels, wearing a dress, with soft materials and curly locks every day. My experience as an actress is much more recent than everybody else [in Fantastic Beasts] and there was plenty of pressure that I had to face. It was a bit strange. I felt a force pushing me to the top of the hill. There was a chance for me to get crushed under it or collapse from the intensity with which I wanted this role and how large it was. There is a possibility to go on the whole day walking around visiting museums, coffee shops, and parks. In LA there is a possibility of being alone, but in London you can ride the Tube and find yourself amid the bustle of London and everyone which you can think of is moving by. I like watching people. I come from the world of music, where you're constantly in the company of males, and you're sure that you're in intimate settings all the time working with men. The book was a dream that came true for me. It was great being able to enjoy the books while on tour. It's always changing places which makes it difficult to concentrate. Yet, the ability to relax in such a vibrant immersive, vibrant universe from your bunk is really wonderful. Alison Alison Alison
