Anya Volz is a New York City-based comic originally born in Vermont. Her comedy has been described as funny, surprising but not too preachy by men from all over America. She contributes as a writer and content creator on Riot Fest The Hard Times as well as Macaulay Culkin's Bunny Ears. She has been featured in BuzzFeed as well as Vulture and has also appeared at several national comedy festivals including New York Comedy Festival and the Women in Comedy Festival. It is daughter to Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist. She is approximately half English in half Spanish. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish as well as English origin. Her mother is Spanish as well as English descendance. Taylor-Joy has the eldest of five kids, and four of them come of her father's previous marriage. Families lived at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was six years old.
